These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.

We may change these terms and conditions at any time up to the time we accept your order. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date above). By placing an order through the site you accept the following terms and conditions. We recommend that you print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference. You will be required to confirm that you agree to be bound by them during the ordering process.

Our Contract

You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you enter payment details and click the Checkout button.

When we receive your order we will give you an order reference number and confirm details of the products you have ordered. Please note that this reference number will be an acknowledgement of your order only and does not mean that we have accepted your order. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy the goods and is subject to acceptance by us.

Once we have checked your order, we will confirm our acceptance by sending you an email that confirms that we have processed your order. Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur when we send you this email. Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case we will notify you as soon as practicable.

When deciding whether or not to accept your order we may use certain information about you, including any received from credit reference agency checks with Experian Limited or other agencies. In particular, we may pass your details to Experian for them to check against certain public and private databases. Experian may keep a record to use in future security checks. This helps to protect you and us against fraudulent transactions.

We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method.

Prices and Payment

All prices and charges on this site are in UK pounds. They include any VAT payable (most coffee products are currently excluded from UK VAT), but exclude delivery charges.

The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order plus the applicable delivery charge. All these will be set out clearly in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order.

Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If something becomes unavailable we will aim to offer you an alternative.

IMPORTANT: We endeavour to ensure that all information on this site is accurate. However, occasionally, an error can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we may cancel your order at any time up to the point we send the product(s) to you. We will contact you where we become aware of an error and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we do cancel your order you will receive a full refund of any charges paid in advance.

We accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, Delta, and Maestro . Payment is deducted when we process your order.


Delivery must be to an address in the United Kingdom. Smaller orders may be sent via Royal Mail; larger orders will usually be sent by courier and will require a signature. Orders are processed on normal working days only and those received by 12 noon will be processed and shipped that day for delivery within 48 hours. Any orders received after the 12 noon cut off will be processed the following working day.

Please make sure you keep the delivery receipts which will accompany your order.

Our courier delivers Monday to Friday between 8.30 ~ 18.00. If you are not able to take delivery our driver will post a card through the letterbox, advising the consignee that they have attempted delivery and inviting them to telephone the courier depot, to arrange one of the following options:

  • Redelivery to the original address during normal working hours (Monday to Friday).
  • Redelivery to an alternative address. To arrange this you must email our office to contact the courier and authorise the change of delivery address.
  • Redelivery to the original address without a signature i.e leave the goods in a safe location, following prior email authorisation from you to us and you must accept risk for any loss.
  • Collection from our local courier depot.

3 boxes and above carriage free but where supplements for outlying area’s apply these charges are still applicable.

Zone 2
Scottish Highlands and Islands

1 – 2 boxes £10.00

3 Boxes Carriage free but where supplements for outlying area’s apply these charges are still applicable.

Zone 3
Northern Ireland, Isle or Wight & Isle of Man

1 – 2 boxes £12.50

3 boxes Carriage free but where supplements for outlying area’s apply these charges are still applicable.

Zone 4
Channel Islands – Jersey & Guensey

1 – 2 boxes £ 20.00

3 boxes Carriage free but where supplements for outlying area’s apply these charges are still applicable.

Channel Islands – Alderney, Sark & Herm £11 supplement.

Where applicable, the total cost and details of delivery charges will be explained in full at the basket page. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot offer a collection service.

IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet the delivery schedule as specified in our delivery charge section. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors outside of our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We work very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive all your products or in the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged, please contact us via the email address within the 'contact us' section of the website.

Change of Mind Cancellations

You can cancel your purchase at any time either before or up to 7 working days following the day after the day on which you receive the goods by emailing us at the address shown in the 'contact us' section of the website.

Your product must be complete and in 'as new' condition e.g. if the box has been opened to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging. It must not have been used. It should be returned with the original box and packing you received with it. Any 'Free Gifts' received with the product must also be returned.

If you follow the steps above you will receive a full refund of the product price and any delivery charge paid.

You may not cancel your purchase when the seal has been broken on any products, or the goods were a special order to your specification.

If the offer of the price includes any reductions or free products for volume purchases then any refund will be at the reduced prices.

This promise does not cover faults, other than those caused by us, arising from accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Our responsibility for loss or damage

We will accept liability for any losses you suffer as a result of a breach of this agreement, except:

  • where those losses were not foreseeable to both you and us when we accepted your order;
  • where those losses were not caused by any breach of the agreement by us; or
  • any loss of profit, revenue, business, contract, goodwill, or other financial or economic loss or damage.

This does not exclude or restrict our liability for (a) fraud, (b) death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our agents.

Our liability for faulty goods is limited to the remedies described here and will not exceed the purchase price of the product you purchased.


Gala Coffee Ltd takes security very seriously; when shopping with us you can rest assured that we use the highest industry-standard processes and procedures to ensure your credit card details are absolutely secure and cannot be viewed by any external parties. We will never share any confidential details with anyone else.

All transactions are encrypted using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer technology.


These Terms and Conditions and all transactions (including any disputes) relating to this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland in which case the relevant law will apply and you can choose to take action against us in your local courts.

Information about how we use personal data collected via this website and your data protection rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, pre-release orders and our added value services and offers. If so, you will be alerted to them at the relevant time.

We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions. Any variations to these terms and conditions must be signed by an authorised signatory of our company.

If any order subject to these terms and conditions is terminated by either of us for any reason, neither of us will lose any rights which have already accrued. If, at any time, we do not require you to comply with any part of these terms and conditions, this will not prevent us from doing so in the future.

Each provision of these terms and conditions operates separately. If any part of these terms and conditions is disallowed or held to be ineffective by any court or other competent body, the rest of the terms and conditions will not be affected.

These terms and conditions only cover Gala Coffee Ltd. Any other websites to which you link from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales and correspondence can be concluded in English only.

We, our group companies and our suppliers own (or are licensed to use) the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited.

You may not create any link tothis website without our prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.
